When it comes to a leadership position, it is important to understand the skills, working knowledge , domain expertise and critical experience set. However, another element of the leadership assessment is also the overall personality assessment that includes psychometric parameters including Emotional Intelligence, Thought leadership models, as well as, Industry acceptance or recognition for a particular leader.
Here, we do a rigorous assessment of the depth of critical experience in the related field, industry relevance , project management experience, as well as the relevant projects he/she would have led in his/her career span. It is sometimes very important for our client to find leaders with experience in the same industry e.g. e-Commerce client working with us to find leaders from flipkart, amazon etc.
A strong working knowledge and direct exposure to the relevant technologies, tech-stacks is really important for a successful tech leader. We evaluate the working knowledge basis the depth of understanding in technologies for a particular leader. We have in-house experts and community leaders who engage with us (if required) for such interactions as well.
An important element of our assessment includes the evaluation of leadership styles, understanding of various Project management principles, scenario analysis, complex system analysis, analytical mindset, views and opinions over a particular case study, as well as Team leadership experience. An emerging new evaluation criteria is that of an Emotional Intelligence, for which we partner with external specialists.
